Any writer will tell you that, though writing is a solitary profession, it takes a village to get to where you want to be. Over the years I have had so many people encourage, mentor, critique and support me in my writing that just saying thanks isn't close to enough, but you have to start somewhere.
I have to thank Bronwyn Wolfe and her daughters for reading my early stuff and offering such positive feedback and encouragement. You don't know what it meant to me.
A special thanks to my good friend Madeline Baker who also writes as Amanda Ashley. Her friendship and support through the years have been invaluable.
I also have to acknowledge the many friends I have made over the years in both the Orange County Chapter and the Utah Chapters of RWA. What an honor to associate with so many kind, wonderful and talented people, both men and women.
And last but not least, to my family for trying to understand my need to write. My husband even took over dish duty so I would have more time to write and with a family our size that's saying something.
A special thanks goes to my daughter Katie who reads my stuff one chapter at a time and offers comments and suggestions for improvement. Without all of these good friends and family, I wouldn't be able to do what I do. I love and appreciate all of you.
